These connectors prevent the wire from being fed through the end. You need to measure the wires and cut them perfectly so that the length of the wires reaches the end and the length of the sheath is crimped. The tool I have allows for connectors that allow the wire to go all the way through and then cuts the wires perfectly flush with the connector. These are labor intensive connectors. Well, if you cut everything perfectly, then they do what they're supposed to. This review isn't about whether they work, but how easy they are to use. Definitely not for a beginner. I would recommend a pass-through connector for beginners and to get the job done faster.
