We didn't even try to make sushi ourselves because it seemed complicated. This set contains all the necessary tools. You also get access to a free download of an e-book that explains how to use each piece of this set and includes recipes for different types of sushi rolls such as California rolls and tuna rolls to name a few. Beginners can use it to prepare sushi. Highly recommended. For the price, this set can't be beat.
