No Steam Table Required

I don't have a professional steam table, but I still need stainless steel containers for my darkroom. My photo solutions have to have certain temperatures for film development. The classic way to keep them at the right temperature was to immerse the bottles in a vat of water and hope that the specific heat of the water will keep them at the right temperature. Now in the world of sous vide you have a recirculating heat pump that will do that for you, but you need a deep container for that. These are perfect for that. They're better than the plastic version because they don't stain (photochemicals are known to leave permanent stains on everything but stainless steel). The wide rim provides a good grip with fingers, for example, the presence of a handle around the entire perimeter of the container. The lids are tight but not airtight, so the chemicals inside will oxidize over time, but for a two-day print this will probably be enough. sous vide. You get two in a set so you don't run out of space for your solutions. When not in use, they can be folded up to save space and, according to the product description, are trouble-free. My only criticism is that the thickness of the steel seems a bit thinner than other steam table hardware I've used. For my application this is more than sufficient. If you've been to a professional restaurant where they get spanked more often, this could be a problem. All in all, I'm very happy with these bowls. They are perfect for what I use them for even without a steam table.
