My laptop has stopped charging from the outlet. Which made my laptop almost unusable. Since it had a USB-C port, I figured I'd try charging it from there to see if I could revive my computer. I made sure the rating is the same as the original plug and chose this charger. It arrived on time, well packaged and, to my delight, brought my computer back to life. It charges at the same rate as the AC plug and nothing seems to have changed. The fork that goes into the wall is probably the biggest I've ever seen. It's like the brick that originally sits between the wall plug and the AC power plug that plugs into your laptop, but it cuts out the middleman and glues the brick directly to the wall. It's strange to see such a large adapter, but the ports are arranged so that it doesn't interfere with the neighboring plug and doesn't render the socket unusable. The length is a little shorter than I would have liked, but it's a quality cable that feels strong and well built. Even the USB-C port looks better than most I've seen. Of course, this charges a laptop, not a phone, so maybe that's why. While I sometimes need to use an extension cord or be close to a power source, the quality of the product makes up for it and the fact that it charges my laptop so well I can't really complain.
