I will explain how to quickly connect the sensor for those who use the Aqara (HomeKit) smart home. To connect, you need to open the box and place the sensor in the room where you plan to use it (although the room and location of the sensor can be changed later in the DOM application). Perform 5 quick button presses on your hub (I have Aqara-hub-M1S) to put it into search mode. After the hub “gurgles” (after 5 seconds) about searching for devices, go to the leakage sensor, press the “droplet” on the sensor with force until the indicator starts flashing blue, release the button. After a while (about 5-10 seconds), the hub will say that the device is paired. After that, you need to check the operation - place the sensor in a saucer / sink with water. The sensor will work and information about it will appear in the HOUSE about the series / number / software / charge level . To connect other sensors, repeat the steps with the hub and the sensor. If you want to reset / untie the sensor, then click on the “droplet” until it starts flashing, the hub will tell you that the device is untied. The HomeKit app (maybe other apps as well) can be set to automate what to turn on/how to alarm in case of a leak. I set up my bedroom light to turn on, alarm for the hub, and trigger sounds on the HomePod. After a couple of hours, he showed his wife where the sensors were, wetted one - automation turned on (the bedside lamp turned on, the HomePod began to play the murmur of the river, the Hub squeaked). There was an alert on the Apple Watch about a leak (like something squeaked on the iPhone). Great!)))) We continue to expand the smart home.
