Cat5E have been around for some time. I usually buy this in rolls of 1000ft at a time. It was a strong cable and was easy to work with when laying the line. The signal was transmitted normally with no problems. Sometimes you can cross the wires while crimping the ends. I think it's normal for a lot of us to do that. It's just part of being human and trying to get the job done as quickly as possible. That's what line testers are for, right? Turned out to be a good cable.
