Our 15 year old Beagle refused dry food and became lethargic and lethargic - we honestly thought she was very ill and afraid of the next step. She also lost weight and became too skinny. We decided to change her dog's food to see if that would help as she showed interest in OUR food but not hers. We tried a few different brands. We first tried the Hills Science Diet for adult dogs over 11 years old (expensive!). She ate it for about 4 months. and then give it up altogether. We then (slowly) switched her to Iams Mature Adult dry dog food and mixed it into Senior Dog Pate and voila, she's a happy dog! She licks the bowl and begs like she used to. The glasses arrived safe and sound, not wrinkled. Her stomach wasn't upset at all and at least her digestion got BETTER after switching to Iam's Pate and Dry Dog Food for Seniors. She has become more active and is walking with our son again. I wish we had tried Iams sooner but we are so glad we did!
