The quality of the materials is good so far, I've only been using it for 4 weeks. The only problem is the design of the seating area. He leans far forward. The front seems lower than the back when you sit in it and keep readjusting the rear slider to get in! They even added longer brackets to the lower front brackets to try and adjust the angle. REDESIGN REQUIRED! The tilt feature is non-existent at best. DO NOT lean back more than almost vertically! Even in the lowest position of the tension spring you have to apply a constant counter pressure! Like MOST ALL Lay-z-boy products. they leave a lot to be desired! For the $440 spent I'm not happy! My old Walmart chair, big and tall, $169 was much more comfortable! I wish I had bought a different brand now!
