I use this fan to cool the PS5 exhaust. The heat outlet on the back of the PS5 console can get very hot, especially when playing online games. After a while I noticed that I was having internet and latency issues. This fan was an easy fix and way better than those cheap cooling bases. I just plugged it into my entertainment center and hooked up a fan to one of the rear USBs. Ports and the foldable neck is angled to release more hot air and draw some heat away from the console's rear exhaust port. No more internet dropouts/lags and the console works like a dream. Would definitely recommend this to my gaming team if they finally get their hands on a PS5. The only downside so far is that it's a bit noisy, but I usually wear headphones so I can't even hear it. Fans are noisy. That's how they work. This isn't rocket science. For white noise, I think using a fan to sleep would be great. I leave it plugged in so I can't comment on the independent battery life. while satisfied.
