I needed a large metal water bottle for camping and traveling. I chose 40 ounces as it seemed like a good capacity but wasn't bulky. The bottle does not leak and is strong enough (some bumps hit the walls and fall on some rocks). While a water bottle will work, it's not exactly the best value as there are insulated stainless steel bottles of the same capacity available for a similar price. However, if you put a stainless steel bottle in the dishwasher and want to put the bottle on the fire to boil water, this bottle is more suitable.
