My daughter has a very small waist. Because of this, we have a hard time buying their jeans. I bought a pack of these button pins and they are a life saver and save me a lot of time looking for the right pair of pants. You simply squeeze the bell shape that protects the tip and pull away from the button to open the lid. Tuck the pin into the waistband of jeans where you're comfortable and cover the pin with the cap. They can be removed or left on the jeans to prevent wear and tear in the wash. This is a great concept and the ones that uncap the pen work great. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instructions were not easy to understand. Also, the first pin we tried to use broke when removing the cap, and some of the others are difficult to tamper with, so I doubt we'll be able to use them. Luckily, many of these come boxed so you can reuse these button connectors.
