Review on πŸ’ͺ Sleek and Sturdy: Legrand Seymour 9880CC10 Porcelain Construction for Superior Durability by Jermaine Krishnamoorthy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Exactly what I need - not what I prefer. Good value for money but not for DIYers with 120 volts.

ATTENTION! Open wiring. A medium sized standard Edison surface socket from the 1930's. Simple and small, just as shown in the picture. Surface mount only. The wiring goes through the side holes as shown in the picture. Use in an enclosure or with a method that protects the wiring. They are fragile and brittle. One of the groups I ordered broke due to poor packaging. She was immediately replaced. Can also be used for 50 volt and less AC or DC lamps. I am an electrician with 40 years of experience.

Pros
  • porcelain socket for light bulb
Cons
  • boring packaging
