I have been a customer for quite some time. One of my disks is seven years old, and I just got a two-terabyte one. A cool thing that has been tested for years, and now I'm considering taking 4 of them because their price has dropped so drastically. The only caveat is that it would be ideal if they tweaked the design just a bit, but that's nitpicking.

It has been functioning successfully for a few months under a torrent on a Keenetic router; if it stops, I will retract the review.

The product works well, but I have to be extremely careful when I use it. I don't let it fall to the ground, and even more importantly, I don't fling it against the wall. Birthplaces are kept in a box, and the box is opened whenever it's required. Then we will return to the container.

When recording, the speed is approximately 100 Mb per second on average. When reading, there were more than 400 Mb / s (although with drawdowns up to 150), and I was astounded because this is at the same level as my SSD. Obviously, this was done using sequential writing and reading, while random operations resulted in 50 and 100 Mb/s, respectively.

I pray it lasts forever. About 15 years ago, my first Western Digital failed suddenly; damaged sectors started showing up. I have avoided this brand ever since, and I can only hope that the quality has improved.

Because my business involves pedigrees and all the information is saved there, I purchased it for 1 TRB five years ago and have no problems. I use it constantly (every day).

I pray that it holds out for a very long time. My very first Western Digital hard drive, which I purchased perhaps 15 years ago, failed very rapidly and showed signs of fractured sectors. Since then, I have avoided purchasing products from this business; I am hopeful that the quality has improved.

I was very lucky with the purchase, I think that the problem with the cable can also be solved if desired. Last year I bought a compact Seagate, died in six months. Its pros: It has been working for more than 5 years, the cable began to go off (on a PC it gets lost at the slightest touch), so I installed it as an external drive for PS4. I have been buying Transcend external drives for about 10 years - only 8 pieces, this is the 9th. None have broken yet. I hope this one doesn't disappoint either.

Sharing my unbiased impression.Very convenient USB 3.0 no need to steam with two wires. The rubberized cover has saved me from a fall more than once.

Died after a year and a half. During the diagnosis, the warranty stickers were torn off, the exchange and return is problematic. Bright memory 900 gigs of information. Restoring it costs as much as a wing from a medium-haul Boeing.

I have had this disc for three years. Unlike other brands, it did not burn out after a year. Works fast enough. Pros below: Worked well for several years, unlike other brands. I want to replace my old one with the same one Cons below: Three years later, the usb port loosened up. Once again it is better not to touch and not be chained to the disk, it is disconnected.

Some pros: Rubberized body, plus no scratches. Disk volume. The stability of the disks of this brand, I'm already taking the 5th external disk. The first disk was 500 GB with a double tail, I took it more than 10 years ago, it still works fine. Has cons: The rubberized case, its minus dust particles and motes that stick to the rubber shell, but you can wipe it with a damp cloth and it will be like new.

I took even before the for 4250. I am very satisfied with the purchase. I originally took it for a home server (via a router). I bribed the power saving function - it turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity, for example, at night. But now the need is gone. I use it as a backup storage for photos / doents / programs. Rubberized enclosure, conventional hard drive size, and data recovery software are some of its positive attributes. Below are some downsides: When compared to the identical disc type that was purchased a few years ago, this one has a thinner wire and a thinner rubber sheath.

Various advantages: The rubber case offers the sense that it is protected while also being quiet and pleasant to the touch at first impression. Con: It seemed to move at a glacial pace to me. The PC that I use at work does not route it through a USB hub.

With its positives being: Miniature in size and easy on the weight. It would appear to be of high quality. It is simple to use. All devices were able to open it without any issues. Has drawbacks: Not at this time. If you connect it to the TV, the cable will be too short, but the problem may be fixed.
