I needed to replace a 2000uF 10V capacitor on an old Samsung LCD TV. Its display flickered like a strobe light. Removing and replacing the failed capacitor was easy. The supplied solder sucker was very helpful to gently remove the old solder. I prefer this over copper braid. In general, this is a simple solution with your own hands. No need to throw away the TV or pay a TV repair shop.
