LOVE so far! best in Kitchen & Dining

I really want to take the time to talk about these towels so my apologies if this seems too long but I promise it's worth a read. Reading the reviews for these towels made me very concerned but since reviews are usually only made when people don't like something I figured what the heck is and bought them. Here are my observations: Let's start with the bad :( The towels are VERY flimsy, not what you're imagining. The pic is some serious CGI or something because they'll never fold up like that lol. Okay, that is bad to good :) I LOVE THESE TOWELS. Did I mention I love these towels? OK. So my first impression was that they were VERY thin, but when I was younger working in restaurants I remember the towels we used were so thin. The first time I washed my hands and took one of those, two napkins on each side, DRY JOBS. I was surprised. If I dried something, I just washed it dry, usually in one go! Now I haven't tested it to soak up a complete mess, but when tested on spilled water, something on the counter with splattered oil, or whatever, it cleans and dries quickly. Now let's talk drying, there's the THIN! I throw it over the oven door handle and it dries really fast! I've been using them for about a week now without touching my other towels and I have to say the others are turning to rags! Now I have some stains on it (let's see how they hold up after washing with borax). I washed them first and they shrunk a bit and weren't super smooth anymore (those are towels not decorations!) I just wish I could get them cheaper lol but hey not bad for the price! I would say that anyone in doubt about buying them, just do it. They won't be as trendy as Williams Sonoma (sp) or other super expensive towels, but their texture (I HATE WAFER WEAVING) makes me very happy and I hope you like them too. And PS I don't work for them if anyone is thinking, just an avid Revain buyer (see my reviews). additional acquisition costs are much more. // Maybe some freebies? <cough cough> lol
