Review on πŸ’§ The Ultimate RO Hi Drinking Water System by APEC Supreme: Experience Unmatched Quality and Purity by James Lesley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Highly recommended if you drink a lot of water.

I am 100% satisfied with this Ultimate RO-Hi Top Tier Supreme High Output Fast Flow from APEC Water Systems. I think the hardest part was drilling the faucet hole in my granite countertop. Since a hole needed to be drilled, a 1 3/8" drill bit was used to drill out the soap dispenser, garbage chute air switch, reverse osmosis faucet, and water heater faucet. I once bought a reverse osmosis system. This one drill bit has all of those holes made, one size holes/diamond drill bits. The next most difficult part was running the line from the reverse osmosis to the water heater (InSinkErator HOT150 Instant Hot Water Dispenser System) under the house from the kitchen sink to the kitchen island sink.Other than those things, the installation was one Reverse osmosis system pretty basic.Instructions were very well written along with pictures showing what goes where.Fittings.When I bought this there was no oiled bronze finish faucet available for purchase so I had to properly sand and paint the faucet .It turned out really great and goes well with other devices. It was easy to paint and erledi finished this part in about an hour and let it dry overnight. I've read that TDS meters are pretty much useless, but bought one anyway because I didn't have another test device to try at the time of purchasing a reverse osmosis system. If you look at the picture when I tested the water these were the tests I ran ranked from worst TDS to best. Tap Water: 38 TDS Brita Jug Filter: 30 TDS Asini Bottled Water: 22 TDSRO System to Water Heater: 4 TDSRO System: 3 TDSI allowed the above water samples to reach room temperature, took these readings, let them sit for an hour, and ran them again . Every reading was accurate except for one of them which was 1 point so the meter seemed pretty accurate for what it does. I have had 3 leaks since installation but have done some plumbing work over the years. I know to check for leaks after installation and even the next day. The leaks were my fault for not tightening the filter housings enough (they're plastic, so I didn't know how tight they were. Just tighten them, which I did). The instructions tell you to keep checking for leaks. I've never owned a reverse osmosis system so I don't have many that compares, but I'm glad I bought the Fast Flow. This water quickly leaks out in large quantities. I fill my 32-ounce water bottle in 13 seconds (I have 120psi at home, which might help a little with that). I read a bit about adding some minerals to the water to improve hydration. , and consider a cartridge to add electrolytes back to the water after the reverse osmosis system has removed most potential contaminants. Overall I am very happy with this system. I bought this glass bottle to use as a drinking bottle instead of single-use plastic (Kanrel Glass Water Bottle, BPA-Free and Eco-Friendly, with Purple Silicone Sleeve (32 oz), Refillable, Sealed, Dishwasher Safe, Easy to Clean). I'm up and ready to go Let's see how this reverse osmosis system performs over the years and update it if anything goes wrong besides routine maintenance. Buy this system with confidence!
