When I ordered this ball head, there were no reviews or ratings on it. Zero. So I contacted the seller and asked some important questions. The answers they gave me were excellent so I bought it. So far I like it very, very much! The ball size is huge (just over 2 inches) and the way it holds my fully extended Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens at an angle is amazing! In some of my photos you can see my camera and lens tilted up. I grabbed a pine cone and left it there. After 20 minutes he was still right on that bump. I was impressed. Another thing I love about this ball head is that I can use it as a "gimbal". You can see this in one of my photos. With a loose lens collar, ball head and rotary knob, I can rotate the camera just as easily as a gimbal head and it weighs less! So far I'm very happy with this purchase and certainly glad I took the chance. What really got me overcoming my insecurities was when the seller told me they have a FIVE YEAR quality guarantee! It's practically unknown! So I bought it. I've used it several times and I'm still very happy with it. It's so durable it showed me I really need a better tripod! lol! So far I have no problem recommending it to my fellow photographers and clients. I will definitely update this review if anything changes.
