Review on 🐶 Pink Camouflage Suitical Dog Recovery Suit by Charlie Conner

I bought a pink camo recovery suit for my 6 month old 17lb Boston Terrier "Lola” to wear after he was neutered. I hope this helps you choose the right size for your pup with similar measurements as the size chart was difficult for me. I measured Lola's length at 19 inches (neck to tail); Circumference 20 inches (at fullest part of chest) and width 13 (at neck). I'll start with the positives: the packaging is excellent, the quality of the material looks pretty durable, thick enough and soft. Let's see how it holds up after a machine wash. The size chart says Small is 17-20 inches (neck to tail) and Small Plus is 19-23 inches (neck to tail). Just in case. I bought both. I tried the small one first which turned out to be too big considering the description says it should be a snug fit. If the small one is too big, I will of course send the small plus back. I got both suits delivered the morning of her surgery, so she wore the little one to bed as a Well & Good inflatable collar, which I also bought "just in case" she found it a bit awkward, keeping it in her drawer to carry (she couldn't turn around to keep it from touching the sides of the box). Let's just say I hardly slept because I was very paranoid that she might be at her seams as the space around her hind legs was quite gaping. But that was the result of my poor planning, I had to order in advance to make sure I got the right size! (1) not too tight around the neck as a small neck is ideal; (2) will not have extra room around her hind legs and (3) is not too tight around her stomach (preferably not rubbing around her scar area). Will update when I get an X-Small! UPDATE (2 weeks after original purchase): Good, so the X-Small was too tight on her neck, so I sent it back as well. We have since bought another little one to use alternately when we wash every 2 days. I wash on normal / hot with Ecos detergent. Both shrink a bit, but are still loose enough that the seams don't chafe. The material is definitely of good quality as the color hasn't faded too much. I've included updated photos so you can see how the legroom is much less due to shrinking.
