Few purchases actually have the cumulative effect of improving your quality of life. This little brush, bought almost seven months ago, can confirm that. The quality is fantastic. The body of the brush is a lot heavier than I expected, giving it a premium and solid feel. After researching far more about shaving brushes and wet shaving tools than any sane person should, I've come across enough people who say that if you invest in a brush, it's a silver-tipped badger or bust. Other than that I can't comment on other hair as this is the only brush I've used. What I can say is that if there is anything that outperforms the silverfin badger, it is probably too expensive and endangered for practical use. It really changes your shaving experience. After seven months of almost daily use, this brush is still strong, clean, and shows signs of lasting much longer than a typical $40 item. Aside from the first few uses, he lost a few precious hairs through the bun. I'm not an expert on shaving care but as I just rinse it off and gently wring it dry and hang it on the included (albeit cheap) stand and it wears no worse this is a quality product. Only downside is the printed logo didn't last long but what a difference. The chrome still shines, the handle shows no signs of wear and the bristles are still luxurious and feel like a clean shave. If you are unsure about spending money to switch to a wet shave, stop doubting and do it. It really transforms every man's morning routine from a painful experience into a pleasurable ritual that makes you slow down and focus on yourself, even if it's just for 5 minutes.
