I've loved playing video games since I was a kid. As I got older, I became more competitive in my gameplay. My favorite game franchise is Gears of War and I've spent a lot of time making it extremely successful. However, I realized that I needed lower input latencies and would be playing against people who had more advantage because they were playing at higher frames and slower response times. This prompted me to buy a BenQ Zowie monitor. After using this product for 2 months I can confidently say that the BenQ Zowie XL2411K is a great investment monitor at a reasonable price. First of all, the refresh rate of this monitor is 144 Hz; That was the main reason I bought this monitor. This allowed me to play at 120 frames per second (or frame rate) on the Xbox Series S. I should also note that this monitor was designed for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and since they're the only consoles that can run at 120 frames per second (FPS). Refresh rate and FPS are very closely related. First, the frame rate is the number of frames that a computer, game console, or other device sends to the display every second. Refresh rate is the rate at which the display (or monitor) can display those frames. Compared to a regular TV, which delivers about 30 frames per second with a 24Hz refresh rate, the difference between a monitor and a TV is as big as heaven and earth. The result is a smoother picture on your monitor, which allows for higher fidelity through clearer screen presentation and smoother animations. Finally, this monitor has an amazing 1 millisecond response time compared to the last one which had a 2.3 to 8.1 millisecond response time. BenQ Zowie allows you to react quickly, which is especially useful for fast shooters. This monitor has more boring picture settings. In games, it's usually difficult to fall asleep after a long session because your screen is exposed to blue light. Thankfully, there's a low blue light mode in the picture settings. The range of values from 1 to 10 determines how much blue light you want from the display. After using this mode, my eye strain has reduced and I can play the game for longer without pain. Another innovative feature is the DyAc technology used in the image settings. Dynamic Accuracy (DyAc) is a BenQ exclusive technology that eliminates eye motion blur. According to BenQ, this does not cause input lag. I personally have DyAc set to "Premium" in my settings to take full advantage of this feature. The packaging of this monitor was very secure. It came in an attractive red and black BenQ Zowie XL2411K box. All components were sealed with rubber and sealed with tape. For added security, these components have been encased in styrofoam boxes. Parts included stand, screen and base. It even came with a DisplayPort cable. The user guide provides simple step-by-step instructions on how to set up your monitor. Since I ordered from Revain, I received the monitor within 24 hours. Speaking of which, Revain allows free returns within 30 days (about 4.5 weeks) of receiving the monitor in its original condition. To improve your experience with this monitor (assuming you bought one), I have a few friendly tips. The most important advice I can give you is to keep your monitor in Eco mode. Now of course you can disable this setting to improve the performance of your monitor, but if you want this device to last a long time I suggest you leave this setting enabled. Also, since this monitor supports 120 fps at 1080p for gaming, make sure you're using an HDMI 2.0 cable (it's highly recommended that you use the one that originally came with your console). Otherwise, you can only play at 60 FPS. I'm sure this applies to PlayStation users as well, but on Xbox Series S/X you'll have to manually go to the TV and display options and set the refresh rate to 120Hz. One thing I want to say is that chances are you won't like the default colors for your image. I personally had to adjust the colors to my liking. Finally, for safety, connect the monitor to a grounded power strip. In the event of a power surge, the third pin will conduct the excess current to ground. Therefore, you and your devices are safe. If you're looking to complement your gaming experience, this monitor is for you. If we compare the characteristics of the BenQ Zowie XL2411K with a standard TV, first against second plays practically into the future. More specifically, the model I bought was 24 inches, so this monitor doesn't fit much space. These monitors are even used at e-sports events. This work is designed for competitive gamers who want a smooth gaming experience comparable to playing on a PC. There is something else on this monitor that I can learn about. However, buying this monitor is worth it!
