[TL; DR Pros and Cons] Pros: *** VERY fast response time No screen tearing Good viewing angles (for a TN panel) Really smooth gaming experience Excellent customer support Can technically run Xbox Series X at 1080p 120 FPS Cons: Inaccurate color reproduction (also like all TN panels) (Solved via BenQ Customer Support) The Dead Pixels console setup needs to be crude (at least in my experience) to support 120fps at 1080p. [General Thoughts] This monitor is designed for PC gamers who are serious about competitive gaming. This monitor and the XL2546K are best-in-class monitors for near-instantaneous response times averaging 0.5ms; You just have to consider what size is best. If you want everything in your vision, I would go for the XL2546K. However, if you're more like me and want a bigger screen that's a bit more immersive, the XL2746S is perfect. If screen tearing in games or motion blur is an issue for you, this monitor or any of the Zowie monitors with DyAc+ should be able to handle any game and get rid of those issues. [Next Gen Consoles] Xbox Series X runs at 120 fps at 1080p. on this monitor via an HDMI 2.0 port, although in my experience you brutally have to go into the settings and manually enable it from the override menu. I'm not entirely sure about the PS5, although I'll check and update this review soon. [Issues and Solutions] So in my review I just want to mention that the monitor I originally got from Revain later had a dead pixel problem. along the line. Although the customer service at Zowie/BenQ was really good and they were able to exchange the monitor for a replacement. Later the monitor they gave me as a replacement had stuck pixels, although customer service was still kind enough to give me a replacement until I got a good model. that for this particular product, new monitors will be shipped in red boxes, refurbished monitors will be shipped in plain brown box. [Color Reproduction and TN Panels] Color reproduction on TN panels is not that good and this monitor is a TN type. Since the fastest refresh rates and response times are easiest to achieve with a TN panel, it was the right choice overall. Note, however, that it is not recommended to work color-accurately on this monitor. [Summary] In my honest opinion, this is one of the best 27 inch gaming monitors out there. Playing games like Valorant, Call of Duty, Quake will give you a nice boost in FPS and response time on most TVs/monitors and even games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 2, Guilty Gear Xrd, Under Night In-Birth and other locked 60fps games feel really good thanks to DyAc+ and fast response times. However, if you want a single monitor setup that can handle both gaming and freelance work that requires accurate color or high resolution, you should look elsewhere. This monitor is ideal for competitive gamers who need practice, competitive streamers who have additional monitors to view their stream, or anyone who takes their gaming gear very seriously and wants the space and money for additional monitors for a variety of tasks . I've personally had an issue with dead pixels on this model, although BenQ/Zowie's customer service is so good at dealing with such issues that it didn't really bother me in the end. a priority for you and you can fit this monitor into your budget. I would recommend this or any other high quality Zowie XL S or K series monitor.
