This cage has arrived, although the cage with removable tray is slightly bent due to travel. I didn't want to send it back so I took a large pair of needle nose pliers and bent them back into shape. It cannot be said that it was ever damaged. Although there are no instructions in the box, you shouldn't have any trouble assembling it even if you're a bad builder. I assembled it in less than 30 minutes and I'm not "Mr. Handy". The metal cage parts naturally unfold into their respective places and the shelves are really the only parts that aren't pre-assembled and it took me a minute or two to think about where to place them. It's interesting to note that I was looking at a competitor's cage. , Midwest 130 as it's very similar and I've seen it a little cheaper in some places. However, I also noticed that many of the Midwest 130's components were listed as "ABS" compared to the Xtreme's all-metal parts, which I thought would work better over time. Xtreme is built to last, and even the most violent of pets will have a hard time 'tearing' it off, so to speak. I love that I can easily fold and store the entire cage once my kitty is old enough to defend herself against her canine siblings who tend to love her too much when I'm away. Another tip: I bought 2 MidWest Metals Plush Velcro Cat Beds that were actually made for the Midwest 130 (and also advertised here on Revain) and they fit perfectly in the Xtreme Cage Shelves. The best thing about them is that you can just throw them in the washing machine and dry them. They are also very soft and my kitten loves to sleep on them. All in all a great purchase at a great price!
