This disc worked well initially. I had to reformat it for Mac. But it's a simple process. At first I was satisfied. But then I noticed from time to time that it got disconnected from my computer. I always put it down to moving it or the computer too much and just accidentally disconnecting it. However, this is not the case. These were just early signs of impending doom. I bought it in April and today, after only five months, I had to replace it. I have a feeling the mechanics of the drive are still working fine and the data is probably safe, but the connector port is wobbly. So it's very sensitive and doesn't always have a secure connection. The situation has worsened over the past week, prompting me to replace before I can't connect at all. To be honest, I don't think the USB-C port on the hard drive itself is very good.
