Works great. If anything, it might be too bright. The light from the center of the beam is a bit overwhelming (and also ruins photos), but the footage on the sides is great. Everything in your house is dirty, doorknobs are unexpectedly worse. On the other hand, it is easy to find where the cat is marking. And all the other spots I thought I'd already cleaned (enzyme cleaner and steam cleaner). If I ever get a carpeted apartment again, I'll take it with me. Make sure you have enough cleaning supplies, the first thing to do is clean up everything or burn everything.
