Doesn't work - inkjet printer ink

I tried it on my Canon IP2702 and it didn't work at all. I've done everything the manual says, including shutting down the computer and reinstalling, but I couldn't continue printing after the incompatibility error. This is interesting because when I reinserted a remanufactured compatible cartridge that was previously in the printer, I had no problems printing. Apparently this compatible cartridge from ejet was not able to correctly reverse engineer their cartridge codes.
