I have never used remanufactured ink cartridges and I confess I was skeptical that they would not be as good as a branded replacement. I have an old Canon Pixma MX340 printer. The Ejet cartridge came with a troubleshooting insert in case the printer didn't like it. I put in a new cartridge, reinstalled the printhead and it was ready to use. No questions. No mess. For me, all mascaras are very similar. This ink was way cheaper than the others, so win! I also love that they come in sealed packaging so you can send your old ink cartridges for recycling! What a great way to encourage others to make environmentally responsible choices! (Fun Fact - You can take them to BestBuy too!)

Goes well with my printer. The printer accepted it with no problems. Decently printed, about 1/2 cartridge. without omissions. Cleaned the nozzles, did all sorts of maintenance, still nothing printed well, initially thought it was the printer itself, replaced the cartridge with another and now it works fine. What good is an XL cartridge if it only prints half the ink? I will not buy this ink again.

I tried it on my Canon IP2702 and it didn't work at all. I've done everything the manual says, including shutting down the computer and reinstalling, but I couldn't continue printing after the incompatibility error. This is interesting because when I reinserted a remanufactured compatible cartridge that was previously in the printer, I had no problems printing. Apparently this compatible cartridge from ejet was not able to correctly reverse engineer their cartridge codes.

Despite my bad experience with remanufactured cartridges many years ago, budget constraints forced me to try again. Like last time, the cartridge turned out to be defective. So I get a job, and Word documents won't print! As well as MapQuest and some programs. Are emails and Google pages printed normally?
