We have 2 cats and use Dr. Elsey in the filling robot for reference. We have it in the corner of our office, but the smell of urine and poop just permeates the room. A garbage robot's "filter" is garbage (but that's another matter) and basically the space is unusable unless we regularly empty the robot, thereby depriving it of its entire purpose. We tried another product first (an unscented deodorant) but it just added a faint chlorine smell and masked some of the smell so it wasn't as strong. This product does have an odor but I find it pleasant and not too overpowering and it greatly reduced the smell of the litter. Even when we clean the tray, the smell is not bad at all. The cats don't seem to mind either, as they haven't skipped a single step since we started using the product. This product changed the rules of the game and gave us back our office.
