This item has been used twice for less than 10 minutes each. My toddler said he felt very hot and asked if that was normal. I put my hand on it and felt small jolts. When examining the sphere, I noticed several defects in the glass. I have decided to return this item later when we get home but haven't had time to tell my baby yet. I walked by as he was getting ready for bed and saw him crawl under his gaming table. Suddenly there was a loud bang as the plasma ball exploded. He said he just plugged it in. Luckily it was protected by a table, but the glass shattered into small pieces everywhere. This item is incredibly dangerous. I spent over 20 minutes reading reviews before deciding on this itrm and didn't see a single very bad review. Suddenly today there were many similar problems years ago. Can a Seller Hide Bad Feedback During the Holidays? When I added it to my cart and completed my purchase, the item was priced at 19.99, however I was billed 24.99 for the item after purchase. This item is incredibly dangerous. Please do not buy for your child. I can't even imagine the damage it would do if my son was right in front of him.
