This pillow inflated heavily and quickly after I took it out of the vacuum pack. It looks well made. I put it in a pillow case and then in a pillow case. The pillow inflates after I get out of bed and I've had no issues with the spring falling out. I've been sleeping on a pillow for about two weeks now and it's perfectly adequate for my needs. I mostly sleep on my back and have some neck problems. I wanted a pure cotton down pillow (and I was just hoping to get enough filling) so I bought this one. I can't tell how this pillow will be for a side sleeper. I think that a higher percentage of down feathers would probably give it a taller/lighter look. I wouldn't call it medium support and it will align where your head is on the pillow, but that works for my neck. I will update if there is any problem.
