This wig is not for people who just want to pop it on and go, especially if you're a black girl. There's a lot of customization that you're going to have to do in order to make it look best for your skin tone. The hair is bone straight and very doll-like, but the lace is really nice. I had to cut the baby hairs off just like many of the other buyers, and with all wigs, you have to pluck the part to make it a little more natural looking.Since it's so straight, I had to do the "boiling water" method to get some curls in there. I braided it which gave me beach vibes, but going to re-do it with twists to give more coils. I also took a tip from another reviewer and darkened the roots with some dark brown eyeshadow. It definitely makes a difference! The hair is still a little bit too blonde/yellow for my skin tone in my opinion, so I just ordered some Rit Dyemore liquid dye for synthetic fibers in Chocolate Brown and Graphite to give it more of an ash blonde look.Again. It's a lot of work, but it's a fun little project if you're searching for a new look.
