Review on Indicator Clearance Interior Trailer Courtesy by Billy Mariner

Works great but smaller than expected

These lights are best mounted on trailer frames etc where you can reach the back of the mounting surface to connect cables. I replaced all 10 running lights on top of my RV which meant I had to route the wiring before installing the bulbs and put everything through the 3/8" holes - the backs of the bulbs are almost flat, only two will go wires to you. from sealant. Because the lamps are so narrow, I had to choose their location carefully to fully cover the wiring holes. I installed the bulbs in a layer of silicone caulk (after masking the skin around the bulbs). The chrome bezel is purely cosmetic but has shallow bevels to guide tree branches past the lamps. I used a few drops of silicone to hold the frames in place - they came off too easily. All 4 LEDs in all 10 bulbs worked because of the box. The wires are of decent gauge and have good flexible insulation. There's enough light output to be seen without blinding the driver behind you. The frames give these lamps a nicer, more upscale look. One star down because the screws that came with the bulbs are a bit small heads h They should be small enough to fit under the bezel but they almost go through the holes. I've found that #6 x 1/2" pan head screws work much better.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
