So I ordered this grinder because I wanted to spend under $100 and didn't want a cheap grinder with an uneven grind. Our espresso machine is of high quality and is very sensitive to the fineness and consistency of the grind. 17 grams of beans makes a double serving in my machine and the grind is absolutely perfect (I set the grind to 10). I've experimented with 12 grinds and it was too much, but 10 is perfect for our machine. So it's ok, you have to sand by hand. It's worth it. I think the grinder holds about 25 grams of everything.
