Read Review - Paraffin Baths

I'm finally returning my waxing machine so here's a little advice. First this product, they work well. My sister uses plastic bags and they are prettier but probably not really better. Personal preference, I like them so if you have the money go broke and buy them. The reality of paraffin immersion. My sister and I have arthritis in our hands and the heat is only used to relieve pain and physical therapy recommended both of us both paraffin baths. The practicality for home use is missing. Machines take up some space, so if you don't have counter space you really want to fill, you'd better think about it. In the best case scenario, the wax will melt in 3-4 hours, so plan ahead. You cannot spontaneously decide to give up. Then wrap your hands in polythene, then towels or some kind of insulating cloth (I bought mittens) to keep you warm so you can't use your hands for more than 20 minutes as they are so waxed and wrapped that You practically can't. Can be undone and redone. The truth is a heating pad serves an equally good purpose and if you want or need to you can get your hands out and put your hands back in without planning ahead, not a huge machine sitting on the counter which most of us don't need I'm sorry. Pads are fine if you want them, maybe paraffin dipping is meant for professional use and isn't really that practical for home use.
