Review on Mizuno Womens WAVEKNIT Running Turquoise White Sports & Fitness for Running by Anthony Boylan

I've only worn Mizzunos for the last 8 years. I've had multiple Prophecys, Waveknits 1 and 2, multiple Wave Riders, multiple Inspires, Wave Creations and Wave Sky. Overall I like the Waveknit 3 much better than the Waveknit 2. The toe box is wider which I think makes up for the shorter length. The Waveknit 2s required either a long break-in period or a doubling in size. They have the same depreciation. I wouldn't buy them for racing but in kickboxing the wave knit gives me strength and the wave plate gives me stability. The heel-to-toe bounce isn't a problem for me as I need extra cushioning for my knees, which is great if I decide to run in them (that's what the shoe was designed for). My only complaint is that the wavy knit material compresses the forefoot and toes at first. I also wish the shoes had more energy/bounce like the Prophecys but they are too heavy for long runs. Overall a big win over the Waveknit 2 and they are not as bulky as the Skys and the wrap feel is much better to me than the Inspire's sagging.
