Description of Mizuno Womens WAVEKNIT Running Turquoise White Sports & Fitness for Running

Imported. Rubber sole. Shaft measures approximately low-top from arch. Inspired by our Iconic wave technology, Mizuno introduces the 2nd WAVEKNIT. With wave construction as it's base, WAVEKNIT provides a natural and dynamic fit through stretch and hold abilities. Waveknit upper design stretches and moves with your foot like no other knit running shoe out there while remaining breathable and cool. Mizuno WAVE: Wave sets the standard for running shoe technologies. Given that it less reliant on midsole foam due to wave technology your last mile in the rider should feel as great as the first. U4ic Midsole provides optimal shock attenuation, durability and a superior ride. This neutral favorite uses a parallel CLOUDWAVE for cushioning and shock attenuation.

Super sweet! Perfect fit

Mizuno is my favorite running shoe. Previous models of these knitted running shoes varied in size; Many running stores recommended sizing up as they were tight while some color options look thick and big. I find they fit pretty snugly, even with limited space. I am in love! I thought I ordered a gray pair in the photo but now I got it, they are blue-grey, which is what the color is actually called! I plan to order in white as well.

  • Women's
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Great shoes with good cushioning

I've been running Wave Riders for almost 10 years and switched to a knitted version last year. I really love these shoes. They provide more cushioning and prevent shin splints, knee pain and plantar fasciitis. I have high arches and they have always worked. I ran about 700-800 miles outdoors in the last pair before realizing the pad was flat. I have a photo showing the old pair next to the new one. The old ones look pretty good for all the miles I've ridden in them.

Comfortable for the neutral runner, light weight, poor quality

They look like R22 jersey. However. They are a bit bigger. I wear a 9 in regular shoes and this 9.5 for running. I usually do that at Mizuno. These fit a little better. However, this is not enough to reduce the size. They're cool and comfortable. I ran 9 miles in them and my feet felt great. There are no issues with the construction of the shoes and no need to break them in. The R22 is my absolute favorite shoe, but only after them. Best suited for the neutral runner. I've heard concerns about…

Good shoes that could be great with modifications

As a former athlete and dancer I have had many foot/ankle surgeries (including two this year). I needed durable and comfortable shoes. That's both. I don't overpronate my foot in these shoes. I also appreciate the price, the materials and the roomy sock. However, the mesh is quite thin at the top, so I tried to reinforce it with tape from the inside. I don't think the tape will last long. When you remove the insole and add the orthotics, the heel comes out of the shoe. Too bad the heel tab…

GREAT TRAINER on Athletic

I've only worn Mizzunos for the last 8 years. I've had multiple Prophecys, Waveknits 1 and 2, multiple Wave Riders, multiple Inspires, Wave Creations and Wave Sky. Overall I like the Waveknit 3 much better than the Waveknit 2. The toe box is wider which I think makes up for the shorter length. The Waveknit 2s required either a long break-in period or a doubling in size. They have the same depreciation. I wouldn't buy them for racing but in kickboxing the wave knit gives me strength and the wave
