Review on Mizuno Womens WAVEKNIT Running Turquoise White Sports & Fitness for Running by Luis Tuazon

As a former athlete and dancer I have had many foot/ankle surgeries (including two this year). I needed durable and comfortable shoes. That's both. I don't overpronate my foot in these shoes. I also appreciate the price, the materials and the roomy sock. However, the mesh is quite thin at the top, so I tried to reinforce it with tape from the inside. I don't think the tape will last long. When you remove the insole and add the orthotics, the heel comes out of the shoe. Too bad the heel tab isn't higher to cover the heel. To keep the heel in the boot, I used extra eyelets. But the laces are so short that if you use the extra eyelets for a tighter fit, you can't just loop to tie them. Mizuno suggests I buy long laces. Unfortunately, they did not match the blue color of the shoes. In summary, if Mizuno had made the same shoe with reinforced mesh in the toe box, a higher heel tab and longer laces, this would have been the perfect shoe.
