I'm a big cinephile; I have hundreds of videocassettes of TV movies, but with the end of the analogue era I had to go digital. DVD+RWs were abysmal for recording because you wasted time on everything you erased, but DVD-RW worked just like the old VHS so I could edit, erase and re-record wherever I wanted. The sad part is that a DVD-RW with a case is INCREDIBLY hard to find. Walmart, Staples and Office Max no longer sell them, so buying them online is mandatory. I recommend them to anyone starting their own film collections.
