Memorex 4X DVD RW Media Pack Review

Recorded at 4x and verified with my built in LG DVD/Blu-Ray recorder which supports DVD-RW 2x, 4x and 6x, plays flawlessly on older Sony Blu-rays Ray players. The jury is still out on how many times I can erase and rewrite them, but so far so good.

They seem to have good durability. I use them to record TV shows. One disc lasted just over four years before becoming unrecognizable.

I'm a big cinephile; I have hundreds of videocassettes of TV movies, but with the end of the analogue era I had to go digital. DVD+RWs were abysmal for recording because you wasted time on everything you erased, but DVD-RW worked just like the old VHS so I could edit, erase and re-record wherever I wanted. The sad part is that a DVD-RW with a case is INCREDIBLY hard to find. Walmart, Staples and Office Max no longer sell them, so buying them online is mandatory. I recommend them to anyone…
