So glad we bought this to use for a fishing themed ground cover. I was a bit nervous based on some of the other reviews but this worked out exactly as planned and was absolutely amazing! I've seen other reviews of people doing this in the grass and I'm not sure why they did it as it doesn't explode it just opens up and then gravity does the rest. So we made sure not to do that. We also saw some people throw it at the dock or concrete, which was cool, but we wanted to make it more visible for everyone from a distance. So we painted a piece of plywood white, decorated it, and leaned it against a tree for the groom to throw and hit the plywood with a float. Judging by the photo and video, it turned out great! The only thing I forgot was to ask the boys to color their freshly wet fur right beforehand so the color would stick to the color on the board, but no big deal, it still turned out great! The float was strong enough so it didn't break in transit and the first time my fiance didn't hit the plywood and rolled it on the grass and then the concrete pavement it didn't break lol but it was thin enough that he wouldn't do it. I had to hit the board to crack it. It was the perfect amount of strength/fragility. There was something misleading in the product listing that mentioned it would come in 2 packs so you could practice beforehand and I thought that meant 2 of each color but it came with 1 of each color which means you don't can practice because you are your friend whoever knows the gender gives you one you don't want and you practice with it then obviously it is not difficult to determine the gender before revealing it. So remember when you buy, there is one of each color!
