This is my first attempt at making kombucha. My set arrived as promised. I followed the attached recipe and now it's fermenting. When I leave and go to bed I turn the temperature down, so I bought a heating tape and thermostat to keep my cool house at the right temperature. Update in my review. My kombucha has completed its 1 week cycle and tastes great. Some of them lost their effervescence in the store, bought a kombucha bottle which I reused. So I ordered several twist top bottles to keep the drink fresh and sparkling. Today marks the start of a new batch.
