Nice flashlight for your kit

Before I go into the details of this flashlight I will tell you what I will be using it as a light source for. This light is unlike most typical RGB lights in this range, it's RGBWW and that's very important! This light can be used as a practical inside of a lamp due to its size and can also be used in corners to add a splash of color behind plant furniture etc. Now comes the GOOD: The build quality is top-notch, it feels very solid in the hand, and weighs a little more than some of their small tube lights I own. It comes with a mini tripod and a clip to hold it. It can act as a power bank to charge your phone in an instant. It comes with a rubber diffuser that diffuses the LED light fairly well and doesn't block any of the ports, buttons, or switches. The menu system is fairly easy to navigate and has a hard on/off button. The app controls this light in a much more useful way than all the different button presses you have to physically do in the light (wish they had a scroll wheel function), and the LCD screen is pretty bright for its size. Now NOT SO GOOD: This one Light would have 5 stars if it had MAGNETS! It's such a big feature this light lacks, especially for a panel of this size. Another issue I have with this light is that there is no clear way to update the firmware. I have other lights from this brand with newer firmware that has new effects in the app, but this unit has older firmware v1.5, so some effects in the app are not responding to this light module (some effects do completely different things than they should in scene mode ). I'll update my review when I figure out how to update the firmware. One more thing (and this might just be my nitpick) but in case you turn on the light and run the app and it doesn't control the light, you have to press and hold the M button on the light and then set the channel and in the Group app to match what is shown in the light (they don't make it clear but I figured it out). Overall the pros outweigh the cons for me and I can see myself using this light on almost every set I work on. This is a great addition to your kit as long as the imperfections don't affect your use.

Cons
