In use for two weeks, heavy rain makes my feet wet because water enters my legs through some kind of membrane (I used it with a heavy duty raincoat ). to keep water from entering through the top, only the tips and front of my feet get wet. So if you want boots that will keep your feet dry in the rain avoid these as they are not waterproof, the zip on the side is of very poor design so not easy to close, it usually gets stuck. Bought them for a brand someone recommended and found them at a good price but just waiting for them to fall apart to buy another brand and in the rain I will use my old boots they are old but they are really waterproof not such a bummer. Also, they don't stick to your ankles, so you can relax them a bit (even if they're my correct size) if you need to stand up to support the bike's weight on the headlights, the design lacked some sort of cord or something to go around to fasten it properly on legs and ankles. -------------------- After being used in heavy rain for some time, the sole shows some signs of separation from the shoe in one place, some curled up pink glue and the smell of shoes. This is terrible as they are very good at letting water in but not letting it out so they don't dry out even if they are kept in a well ventilated area where you need to bring a hair dryer or other device to dry it indoors the worst boots i have ever had and i use them till they break so i learn my lesson and next time dont buy junk.
