Great tool to keep in your gym bag. Ideal for relieving tight spaces, especially around the legs and back. The exterior is made of a rubberized material wrapped in a foam-like core. I bought this massage ball in 2015 and it still works great. The blue shell has started to crack with age and constant use, but the quality has remained the same. One observation I've made is that the round ball shape now looks more like an oval, oval ridge. My guess is that the ball has "lengthened" after years of use. Despite the odd shape, it still works and does what it's supposed to do. Good investment!
