Review on 🌊 Aqua Craft Standard Seawater 35 ppt Refractometer Calibration Solution - Accurate and Convenient 60 ml Solution by Joseph Stone

Be skeptical about this product. Its accuracy is not guaranteed and I would not simply rely on it. I thought it would be helpful to check/calibrate my Milwaukee digital refractometer with this product. I assumed it was done by professionals and initially thought that even after many attempts to calibrate with RODI, my device was off by 1 ppt. As a result, I have started adapting my 3 aquariums to the salinity of this product. My corals and livestock were fine, but I came across an article from reef2reef that describes how to make your own calibration solution. I care a lot about accuracy and have used higher resolution scales to weigh salt and RODI to within hundredths of a gram. I ended up testing my homemade calibration fluid and found that my refractometer works 100% and this product is 1 ppt off. Personally, that's too big a mistake for me. I'm disappointed that it's unreliable but glad my refractometer is reliable. To make your own calibration fluid: Use 3.65 g table salt and 96.35 g RODI. That's 35 pages.
