My Mom Loves Cardinals. My mother loved her old coffee mug, which she rarely washed and which was gross to look at, but I refused to wash it. I gave her this beautiful transparent plastic cup with cardinals. She really resisted it. She's 87 years old, so you know how hard it is to get her to try something new. I showed her the little stopper on top of the cup. Wow! No more spills on the counter or floor. I taught her to close the lid before moving from one place to another. The clear plastic forced her to keep it clean. She says coffee stays warm longer than old coffee, so it's a win-win for everyone. I'm getting alma mater glasses for my sister and son-in-law for Christmas.
