Received this after deciding to purchase to clean up my graphics card cables that were getting in the way of my really clean look. I received it in a few days and immediately started installing it in my case. After removing the power cord from my case (always do!) and removing the cover, I measured (visually) where my ports should be, then proceeded with the task of tightening the tiny screws on the unit with a tiny screwdriver solve. To my great surprise, not only did they weaken, but they came out! THE CONFIRMATION THE VERIFICATION! This thing is so tiny it's almost microscopic and for a second I panicked and desperately searched for it. I really wish they didn't come out all the way, just get weaker. That's my only criticism here. However, they come with two extras in case you lose one of them. After a bit of work, figured it out and installed it. I plugged everything back in and turned on my computer but got no video. Take a deep breath, unplug and reconnect the cables to the base of this device, plug everything back in, restart the computer and voila, I have the video and all. works great now and looks great. I highly recommend this product, just pay close attention to those screws! I would recommend that you set the screws on a clean table with something, maybe some white material, to help visually in the event of a fall.
