This blender is very good quality and easy to use. I would have given it a 5 star rating but I wasn't entirely happy with it. (This is my opinion and I don't mean to disparage this blender in any way). I have used stand mixers for many years and would not buy any other. I used a double beater with a rotating base and I have to say that I like this type of mixer better because you can clean the bowl while it's spinning! This might seem like a simple feature, but it is. At Cooklee, it's not that simple. If you want to scrape the sides of the bowl (and you should because there's always a lot of batter on the sides), you'll need to stop the mixer, open the door, and then scrape it. There's almost no room on the sides to get in, and if you can't get to everything you'll need to remove the attachment (whisk or blade) that creates the mush, then remove the bowl to mix and clean thoroughly . Everyone. I returned the blender and will no longer be using this style. However, if you like this type of blender (stationary bowl, etc.) then I would recommend it. It's beautiful, easy to use and great attachments! My favorite part of this whole bundle is the amazing cookbook that comes with it. It's full of great American food that we all eat here and they're very simple, mostly made with basic ingredients from your own kitchen.
