Don't listen to these reviews that say the case doesn't work. Only two downsides to this corpus: 1. These people obviously don't know how to use Windows, or at least Google or YouTube (not to mention their brains).2. The manufacturer doesn't know what needs to be done to make your hard drive actually WORK. If it doesn't, then it's either a bad drive, a bad cable, or the case itself, which means you have a problem. Like all your gear. works, you will be fine if you follow these steps: 1. Place the drive in the case and connect it to your computer.2. Open Disk Management under Administrative Tools (may also be Computer Management depending on Windows version).3. Go to YouTube and search "How to initialize a hard drive". There are many videos showing you what to do and most of them are no more than 4-5 minutes long.4. COUNTING. -_-I have 2 Samsung 860 EVO drives. One in this case and the other in another, buy UGreen. For now both work great and my rating will stay the same unless that changes.
