Slightly disappointing

I bought this, like many others, to replace a plastic ball head holder that almost always breaks, assuming that reinstalling it in existing locations would work perfectly. A rough alignment check before bolting and caulking and all looked fine. With constant installation, I noticed an misalignment when tightening. The reason for this is that the hinge mount would not rotate at all to engage the door latch. Additional holes in the car are not required, so the front part of the car mount had to be lined to achieve functional alignment. Also the black rubber stopper is about 2.5cm shorter than the original and allows the door to hit the awning leg when installed.
