Can't believe the radiator cap fixed the overheating in my daughter's '97 Saturn SL2! I put in a new radiator, hoses, coolant temp sensor and thermostat, checked the fuses and relay and it's still overheating leaving me with only one option: get an updated radiator cap instead of 18 pounds of pressure. conventional 16 pound pressure. I drove the car, parked it and turned on the heater for a maximum of 30 minutes and the problem never came back. Lesson learned about the importance of the radiator cap.
